I can’t believe that I have been here for 1 week now! Time is going by so fast, that’s really unbelievable! Today was another great day at the beach with the whole family. Kevin works during the week, but he has Saturday and Sunday off, and Sharon and Kevin really enjoy the time they spend together with the kids. When we came to the beach today, the first thing we did was getting beach tags for the whole season. It’s really good that we have them, because now I can always go there, whenever I want to. At first, it was a bit chilly at the beach , but the sky soon brightened. It was good that it wasn’t too hot , otherwise the kids would have been exhausted soon, especially Finn, since he doesn’t like the water so much and prefers playing in the sand. Today it was just perfect for the kids. Conor caught little crabs, put them in a bucket where he kept them all day long, Riley dug a big hole and Finn helped him doing that... Unfortunately, they couldn’t go boogie boarding , since the waves were a bit too rough, but they enjoyed the day anyway. Oh yeah, did I mention that my skin is “molting”? ; ) I think I spent too much time in the sun with not enough sunscreen, so I really should put on more lotion the next time… What is more, Bradley Beach is actually a really nice place, since the beach is just beautiful, but there live also a lot of poor people. It’s really the other side of the tracks. We live in such a nice area here in Tinton Falls; the people really have everything here; but at Bradley Beach or Belmar, for example, it’s the complete opposite... In the evening, we had 5 kids here, since Sharon accepted to look after the 2 kids of a friend of hers who had to work. So it was really loud in the house; the kids got some pizza, then they “played” together, and then they were allowed to watch a movie outside on the big screen. I decided to visit Elisabeth and we discussed our plans for the next days. We decided to go to the beach tomorrow again, since we like it there so much ; ) and to New York City on Monday, I’m really looking forward to these trips.
