Today in the morning I was still very tired, since we got back from the city late at night. In spite of that I decided to go the gym with Sharon and the kids in the morning (the kids stayed at the daycare in the gym). We also spoke with the receptionist there about the problems I had. (I think I mentioned it, but just in case you don’t know it yet… once I had come back to Austria last year, the gym continued charging me, although I was not a member anymore; I had to cancel my credit card in the end, and get a new one, so that they couldn’t charge any more money). Today I tried to get the money back; they had to call the customer service first and so on and will hopefully tell me more tomorrow… But anyway, although I had all those troubles, I’m thinking of becoming a member again, since I like the gym there (especially the fact that I can always take the kids with me) and I need a workout. I can’t go just jogging here, because of the humidity which is sometimes unbearable, even in the evening.
I had a good workout today and I also met a guy I got to know last year again. This guy is called John and although he is already over 80 years old, he is more than fit; he used to be a trainer for some team (I think a really famous one, but I unfortunately forgot which one…). John is such a friendly guy; today he apologized for not having written me and said that he was so sad about that, but on the other hand also so happy that I’m back in NJ : ) (Oh yeah, Mama, in case you read this, John says hello to you and hopes you are doing fine…isn‘t that nice that he remembers you, although you only spent 1 day at the gym?…).
What else did we do today… well, after the gym, Conor and Riley had piano lessons -- it’s really good that Ray, the piano teacher, always comes into our house, so we don’t have to drive anywhere with the kids. What is more, after Riley’s piano lesson, I went with him and Finn to the “Monmouth Museum” where we have something like season passes… The kids really liked it there, today there was something like an ocean exhibition and the kids could do a lot of things (going down the slide through a shark’s head, cooking in a boat, fishing, climbing up some stairs and being on a boat then, etc.). Conor stayed in the house, because a friend came over to play with him.
Okay then, I hope you are doing fine… I’d like to write much more, but I really have to go to bed now, since I need more sleep… Tomorrow we’ll probably go to the gym again and then Sharon will go to her mom’s pool with Conor and Riley. Finn will stay with me (don’t know yet what I’m going to do with him… maybe spray ground, maybe mall, maybe playground…), because he is not allowed to be in the pool (it’s a public pool of many seniors and they don’t want kids who have diapers to be in the pool).
