Hello New Jersey!
It's so great to be back in NJ, much greater than I thought it would be. There are so many "small things" I didn't know last year, but I do this year; "small things" like locking the bathroom door for example. That may sound a bit silly, but it's great that I actually know how to do it. It's also just great to be together with the kids again, also Finn, who turned 2 in June, is slowly getting used to me again. I already played with them today and we had lots of fun : )
I also went shopping to the mall today, since I don't have any clothes yet. (My baggage is still lost...) In my opinion, the American stores are much better than the Austrian ones and the clothes are also cheaper here. In the end of my little shopping tour, I already returned with some bags.
What is more, I also like driving here a lot. This summer, I have my "own" car, a black Ford Mustang that looks really cool. However, when I went to the mall today, I took the Audi (another car of my family here), because I'm used to it; but I'm sure that I'll also drive the Ford Mustang soon.
In the evening, we had BBQ. Kevin put some chicken and burgers on the grill -- it was delicious. Then they tried my original "Sacher-Torte" from Vienna and really loved it and afterwards, we watched a movie outside. Kevin just bought a film projector. It felt like being in the movie theater in open-air.
